Nestled in the New River inlet, The Osprey Landing offers easy access to North Carolina's iconic coastal living. Enjoy fishing, shrimping, and crabbing from the private dock, explore New River and numerous creeks with our daily kayak rentals, or head out along the coast in your own boat and moor it overnight on the pier.

Enjoy the summer afternoons and evenings by the pool. You can grill your catch of the day on the charcoal grill and go for a relaxing swim in the pool at your leisure.

The Osprey Landing is a private studio guesthouse on our property. While we are a family that enjoys playing in the yard with the dog or going out on the dock, we keep our cheerful noises to a respectful level. Though the potential for normal noise levels exist, you will absolutely find the atmosphere far more relaxing than you'd find with any shared, commercial lodging or busy neighborhoods anywhere!

About the Name:
Enjoy a sunrise or the cool of the evening from your private deck overlooking the river and you will almost certainly see a family of ospreys fishing from the tall pine tree above the guest house. There's an equally good chance you will see a U.S. Marine MV-22 Osprey flying down the river toward the coastline.

Please note: this is a studio floor plan. The standard setup consists of a queen bed and a small double futon. We recommend the space for two adults and two kids, and our listing settings reflect that; however, if you have a bigger party and desire the pack and play or to set up on the floor, just let us know and we can make the necessary arrangements.

We have adult and youth kayaks for rent, each for just $10/day. Please let us know in advance your plans to rent these, or we might put them to good use ourselves.
