Waterfront and Trail-backing retreat in the heart of the city!

This is a very spacious home a few steps from the Spanish moss trail and very convenient to everything else in Beaufort. There is plenty of offstreet parking. The owner is extremely responsive and very interested in making sure her guests have a comfortable stay.

We loved the location and we were in town for a wedding over the weekend and it was close to downtown and all the festivities. We will definitely stay here again when in town!

Awesome house, location is great.

The house itself was very clean. The bedrooms were very large and it's a great place to stay if you have a large group since everyone has their own bathroom. The biggest negative was the deck overlooking the water. After a long travel day we were looking forward to sitting on the deck with a glass of wine to unwind. However, the deck was FILTHY from green pollen and debris from the trees. We tried sweeping it and wiping the table but it needed to be power sprayed. It hadn't been cleaned for a VERY long time. There were only 3 dirty chairs so we needed to bring a dining chair out so the 4 of us could sit. The sliding glass door tracks were stuffed with debris. It looked like an abandoned deck - not relaxing at all. Also, some pillows were missing pillow cases. There weren't any coffee filters so we couldn't use the coffee maker, There wasn't any laundry detergent so we couldn't use the washer. The lighting in the kitchen was very dim. Light under the microwave didn't work so it was difficult to operate the stove. The light over the sink didn't work so overall it was pretty dark. Some tiles in the bathroom were loose and still hadn't been fixed even though a prior renter had documented it in their review as a safety concern. Overall, it was fine but the issues start to add up by the end of your stay. How much would it cost to provide enough pillow cases, a few coffee filters and a few detergent pods??
