The house was fantastic. The deck was huge,great ceiling fan,birds singing, deer and fawns,comfortable furniture. Master suite with soaking tub and skylight was impressive. Three other king size beds and two large rooms for kids. Excellent showers in all the baths. The kitchen appliances were top notch. The extra refrigerator was very useful for a large group. The decor was just right, not too cluttered but still had personality,Things that could be better15 instead of 5 dishwasher pods. We had 7 people instead of 15 and we still needed to do dishes by hand several times. Five days times three meals equals 15 The guide book was very hard to read. It could be easily improved by increasing the font size, making the background white and the print black instead of dark green background with yellow print. I never figured out that there was a resort pool that could be accessed for free nor where it was.The gate didn’t know which property we needed. We had to dig through all the emails and texts to find the right one. We were never welcomed by a human being either by phone or in person. Missouri is both midwestern and southern which should be actively friendly. The people we contacted from Wright city and ST Charles county were very friendly and helpful The driveway was tricky , could have been better transitioned to the roadFinally, the many warnings about the septic system were annoying. I never would have thought of flushing all the things prohibited

Had a wonderful weekend with my husband and adult children. Came for a family wedding and made a vacation of it. My son in law is an avid fisherman and the lake did not disappoint! Canoe and kayaks were very much enjoyed, home was beautiful and setting on the lake was stunning.

Need to improve response time to problems that come up during stay.Two calls for help without response!Resolved electrical issues ourselves.
