Independent villa for 11 people, 200m from the sandy beach of Calafonr, private swimming pool 6x11,, garden, barbecue, air conditioning (in 3 double rooms included in the rate) 5 double rooms + 1 extra bed, living room with fireplace, kitchen, 2 shower rooms, washing machine, dish washer, satellite tv, garage, The entire interior was renovated in 2013 (floors, shower rooms, kitchen and furniture). The terrace is 50 m2 and has outdoor furniture (table and chairs for 10 people) and also couches for 10 people. Villa in a plot of 950 m2 with enclosed garden, located in the residence Les Tres Cales, in l'Ametlla de Mar, a small fishing village, known for its typical gastronomy and the friendliness of its people. Great villa. We went as a family of six. The kids spent most of their time in the swimming pool. Large enough to dive in at the deep end (8 foot+) and approx 3.5 feet at the shallow end. The villa was spacious. We made use of the barbecue too. The villa has a roof terrace from where you can have a panoramic view of the area and see portions of the sea. The sandy beach is only a 5 minute walk away (Cala Forn) which was quiet in April. It was very clean. All the beaches have showers too. Our villa did not have wifi. Make sure you take some movies to watch in the evenings as the TV channels were all in French. You may want to take a DVD player too. The kitchen had all the utensils needed, including electric oven, gas hob and dishwasher. The storage space/garage had a washing machine which we used too. We hired a 7 seater car from Reus airport which is only about a 35 minute drive away! Very useful to do the supermarket trips in too. The area the villa is in is called La Tres Calas. Nice and tranquil. It even has a local Spar supermarket, a bit of a walk though. Most evenings we would go the the fishing town of L'Amettla De Mar which is about 2Km away. It has a marine, beach and has some great restaurants, shops, fishmongers, markets etc. Take your European tomtom as we did find it very useful. Overall, I would recommend this villa to anyone, particularly with a family.
