Luxury Apartment Il Porcellino: VIEW & LOCATION

Very centrally located near all major attractions. The apartment is beautiful. The master bedroom is lovely but the 2nd with twin beds was dark and more noisy. There are steps up to the elevator which is quite large. Our only complaint was the lack of hot water in the shower. Once hot it would intermittently turn ice cold. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. We did request a taxi when we left. It never came but you can find one at he the nearby piazza Repubblica.

The apartment was well appointed, full of character, and ideally located to walk around central Florence. We only needed a cab to and from the airport. We arrived early and checked our suitcases into a nearby restaurant that provides that service. Our reservation details said that check- in was at 2:00 and that we would receive a message with information on how to access the apartment. I assumed that information would come before 2:00. But actually, I learned that 2:00 was the time that the information would be communicated. We did text with the host and were able to get in at 2:45. The only surprises were the Florence tax we needed to pay in cash when we received our keys- and at checkout, when we were unsure where to take our trash and recycling. However, we loved our location and the evening music in the plaza across the road. Overall, we enjoyed the space and it served us well as our home away from home for our week in Florence.

Adored this apartment in Florence... one of the most beautiful places we have stayed. Leather market right outside our door with easy walking to ALL in Florence. At night when the market is taken down, we had live music and dancing right outside our windows - absolute perfection. We hope to visit again!!

Gorgeous living room / dining room space with fresco ceilings. Spacious 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom unit. Great location close to everything right out your front door: gelato shops, restaurants, shopping, sightseeing.
