The Christie Haus is located at the end of a quiet road just a short walk to gondola square. It is full of warm, classic mountain house décor to make you feel right at home. The views of the valley are amazing in all seasons.

I stayed here with my family of four, as well as, my sister-in-law and her two young boys for a week of skiing at Steamboat. The location is a quick 2-3 minute drive from the resort or a 10 minute walk.The property was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for all to spread out as needed but also gather together at the dining room table and sunken living room in the evenings.The full-time tenants in the unit below greeted us at arrival and also did a fantastic job of clearing snow from the stairs and driveway each day.Communication with the property owner was prompt and helpful during our stay.A few possible helpful notes: The fireplace gets extremely hot, so if you have smaller children you will have to be mindful not to let them get too close.There are steep stairs between the unit and the driveway, so if you have anyone with mobility issues in your party, you may want to look for another unit to rent.Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely consider staying again in the future.
