Lookout Estates Unit D5. This rental is the property of my sister and brother-in-law. They "gifted" us a two night stay for my birthday this month. Ruidoso is a great little town with lots of amenities, activities and the quiet grandeur of the mountains. Even though we are related to the owners, I promised to give an honest review for future guests. Our first impression was how light and bright the main living area was and the view from the balcony is at tree level looking down to town. The deck has a nice dining table and chairs and a gas grill. The condo is very close to all of downtown, less than 5 minutes. There are brochures, menus and pamphlets set up in the welcome book and on the kitchen counter to choose from for whatever the guest has in mind. If you are staying just for the weekend or plan on a longer stay, there is plenty to do, from the casinos, golf course or the racetrack and more. The kitchen is set up with complimentary coffee, water, tea and snacks. If you are planning to eat out (of which there are many choices) or cook something delicious in house it is fully equipped. Laundry is just off the kitchen as well. There are plenty of games and such for the kids. TV reception and WiFi are surprisingly good. The decor is homey and comfortable, not the usual minimalistic or generic feeling. At the entry level there are 2 bedrooms. A/C was recently installed (it may not be in the description from the listing) a nice full bathroom with complimentary soaps/shampoos and luxury towels. My highest compliment was to the quality of the bedding and pillows, so cozy! And the California King bed was sooo comfortable. I personally hope my sister invites me back, because two days just wasn't enough. Thank you and good luck!
