Apple Tree Barn is nestled in the charming hamlet of Sweethay just 2.5 miles from Taunton, providing the perfect location for a luxury escape to the country in a fabulous newly converted 18 century stone barn with private hot tub, sleeping 7 and 1 cot.
The spacious & light accommodation is perfect for large families or groups of friends enticing you to enjoy and maximise socialising both indoors and outdoors.
The vaulted ceilings exposed stone walls, oak beams, large ivory leather sofas are just a few of the exceptional traditional and luxury comforts you will experience, there are many unique oak personalised touches dotted around the property handmade by the owner.
The ground floor boasts a large lounge with log stove and plenty of throws perfect for a “cosy up” on an autumn night, the large family kitchen on the split level provides dining for 8 and boasts a cathedral ceiling, the stable door leads out to the BBQ and main garden area with outdoor dining for 8.

We loved the Apple Tree Barn! It was great for our family of 4. Nice and quiet and lots of space for kids. Well definitely be wanting to stay here again!

Myself, mum, brother and daughter stayed at this wonderful place for a week during October half term.
We had a great time. The property was clean and spacious and had everything we needed and more.
The hot tub was an added bonus which we used daily.
The owners greeted us as we arrived and showed us around as well as providing us with a contact number if needed. It wasn’t needed.
It is approximately 2 miles from Taunton and is set in the middle of a farm area so great for walks.
It has 2 garden areas and plenty of space for parking.
The kitchen had everything that you could possibly need.
The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable.
The lounge had a log fire, plenty of seating and a tv and PlayStation.
We had a wonderful one and would not hesitate in staying there again.

We have just returned from a delightful family stay at Apple Tree Barn. Tony and Julianna were excellent hosts - Tony met us on arrival and provided an informative tour of the property and all amenities, and was available during the week for any queries. The accommodation was perfectly equipped with everything you could need in a home from home, and is a great central location for visiting Somerset and Devon attractions. We could not fault it, and would definitely stay again in the future. Highly recommended!
