About this house rental
Kahieluana means a place to relax and enjoy the company of loved ones. That’s why we custom designed this brand new house to have 5 masters, so nobody has to get the bad room. And whether your version of relaxing means reading in a beachside hammock, playing tennis, snorkeling with turtles, whipping up an incredible meal with local ingredients, all of these activities and more are onsite so you can do all the relaxing you need without having to leave the two acre property. It's like having your own private resort.
The house features a heated pool and deck that is designed for everyone to gather to watch the sunset. The bay directly in front of the house is shallow and wave-free, ideal for our young son to learn to swim, spend afternoons playing in the black sand and watch an assortment of turtles, juvenile fish and sea animals. Whales breach from December through March.
If you choose to leave the property, you will find Puako to be charming and authentic, things you can't get at a commercial resort. Amazing sea life abounds in our reef, including turtle cleaning stations, colorful tropical fish and manta and spotted eagle rays. We have a well-stocked general store (fresh poke on Friday) a short walk or bike down the road filled with colorful locals. In the other direction, Beach 69, a local secret, is a 10 minute walk with waves, white sand, and great snorkeling.

Everything was outstanding. Thank you to the owner, Andrew and our local contact, Leah for making everything perfect. The home and the grounds had everything, felt just like home, down to the Toto toilets, Sonos sound system and home automation. With 9 adults ages mid 30's to early 70's plus four kids under 10, there was plenty of room and spaces for everyone to relax and the kids be active. Nearby beaches were good and groceries available nearby. We all had a great time and expect to book again next year.

Our extended family of 14 had a wonderful stay at the Kahieluana property in June 2026! The location, amenities, and house all exceeded expectations. We all fit comfortably given the number of rooms with king beds and size of the house overall. We enjoyed the tennis court each day and were impressed by the quality of the court overall. The property owners were responsive to requests throughout the week, and helped make our stay incredibly warm and welcome. I would highly recommend the property for larger groups who are looking to celebrate milestones or enjoy a beautiful, relaxing week in Hawaii!

We had a fantastic vacation and the entire family still reminisces often about the wonderful time we enjoyed there together! Everyone had their own comfortable space to retreat to and nobody felt crowded. All the bedrooms and private bathrooms were much appreciated.The four grand-daughters were in paradise in their bunk room. The secret room surprise was a delight.The group areas were spacious for the 13 of us: kitchen functioned quite well with multiple cooks, the pool was awesome and enjoyed continuously, the sand volleyball was fun, the tv and rec-rom space were a great bonus, and much more!Most days we all stayed at the home and didn’t feel the need or want to leave! (However we did do some exploring, hiking, went for scenic drives, trips to beach, whale-watching, coffee farm etc) A few negatives (mice running around inside; hard and uncomfortable dining chairs; a bath-tub drain that wasn’t working/wouldnt hold water; torn curtains on one outdoor shower, looked quite ratty blowing in the wind and visible from the front, etc) were unexpected for a property in this price range, however they were mostly dealt with or at least helpful attempts made to remedy, by owner and/or manager, Thank you Andy, and Alyssa!! Nothing really spoiled the vacation these were just unexpected in this size investment.We still hold and cherish so many memorable and positive moments from this very special family trip! Everyone loved our time there, thank you, thank you again!!

This gorgeous property could not have been more perfect for our trip with 6 teenage boys! There was always something new to try—volleyball, racquetball, tennis, pickleball, yard games, paddle boarding in the lagoon, swimming, pool—it truly has it all. The home is beautifully kept and decorated with thoughtful touches (the kitchen is a dream for large meal prep and cleanup), and the bedrooms were true oases.Thank you for the magical stay!!
