We had an incredible stay at the “Almost Heaven” cabin in Murphy, North Carolina. From the moment we arrived, what stood out most was how peaceful and secluded the property felt while still being just a short drive from town. The cabin was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had that authentic mountain-cabin charm without sacrificing modern comforts.The views were absolutely stunning — whether we were enjoying coffee on the porch in the morning or unwinding in the evening, the scenery really made the experience special. The interior was cozy and thoughtfully decorated, and the owners clearly put a lot of care into making sure guests feel at home. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and every detail felt intentional.Another highlight was the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. If you're looking to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy the natural beauty of the mountains, this place hits the mark. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely recommend “Almost Heaven” to anyone visiting the Murphy area. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean. The only issue was we needed one more bathroom with all the beds downstairs and only one bathroom.

This perfect place for a restful vacation, peaceful surroundings and access to beautiful views. The Keurig Coffee Bar was an added bonus.
