Situated in the middle of a 77 acre farm, this property offers great privacy and an amazing panoramic view of the southern Appalachian Mountains from the Cherokee National Forest in TN southward to the Chattahoochee National Forest in GA. Conveniently located just minutes from outdoor activities including the Ocoee River to the East and shopping and restaurants to the west in Cleveland TN. Chattanooga shopping and attractions just 30-45 mins away.
This property includes a 1300 square feet two story home with an adjoining shop and farm implements shed. The entire home portion of the structure is included in your rental. Construction was completed in 2024.
This property is situated in the middle of a 77 acre farm. It is very private in that there are no close neighbors. It is a working farm so occasionally the owners will share the outdoor areas to tend to chickens and gardens and to mow and process hay during the summer months. The cabin sits atop a two-acre plateau and has a huge front yard for kids and pets to roam and play.
The key feature of the property is a 30 mile panoramic view of the southern Appalachian mountains. It has truly amazing views including Big Frog Mountain. Sit on a rocker on the front porch and be mesmerized by the horizon as you enjoy the peace and solitude of this location.

Facilities are great. This was our 2nd time at this place. Our host are amazing and communicated above expectation. Very friendly and made sure our stay was exactly what we needed.

The views were so breath taking , we met the owner very friendly and helpful will definitely go back again. The cabin was very nice and clean had everything you need to cook , so nice it made you not want to leave to go do anything they had chickens which was so sweet it reminded us of home , very nice area of the state everybody was very friendly which made the vacation even more enjoyable . Can’t wait to go back next year ! Hoping to bring our dog down next year spice it’s pet friendly. Thank you so much . Paul & Barb

Ruby’s Refuge was amazing! I would stay there again and again! It has the most beautiful view of the mountains. The serenity of rocking on the front porch is worth it all. Inside of the cabin has all of the perfect details. This is the perfect place for relaxing and close enough to Lee University and plenty of restaurants .( private, quiet, and cozy)

The location is peaceful, with room for dogs or kids to run and play. The house is lovely and comfortable, with many thoughtful details specifically to make guests feel at home. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and can recommend some great local hikes and places to visit. And as lovely as all of that sounds (and it is), the view is absolutely stunning.
