Lost Key is a vacation destination that appeals to all types of travelers. Golfers, Sun Worshippers, and more all love the laid-back vibe of this less developed, less hectic beach resort community. This golf course unit has a fresh, welcoming interior with tasteful furnishings that allow guests to unwind and relax in style. The private screened balcony overlooks the picturesque pond on the 16th fairway and is perfect for enjoying your coffee in the mornings or your favorite beverage in the afternoons. Lots of wildlife and coastal birds call this Audubon property home. Pensacola is also home to the famous Blue Angels who fly by often on their practice runs for airshows. Everyone enjoys catching a glimpse of them flying around Perdido!
From laid-back local restaurants in Downtown Pensacola to coastal favorites in Gulf Shores, there's no shortage of things to see, taste and enjoy. You'll find plenty of spots for shopping, sightseeing and grabbing a great meal. If you'd rather stay in, our local seafood markets are amazing-- pick up something fresh and cook a special dinner in the fully stocked kitchen. The space is clean, modern and comfortable, offering everything you need to prepare your meals, plus a dining table and barstools at the granite breakfast bar allow for plenty of seating.
The Fore Shore Condo sleeps 7 comfortably. There are 2 spacious bedrooms plus a separate den that is set up as a sleeping quarter. The Master suite has a comfortable King sized bed and spa like en-suite bathroom attached. You will love the large tiled shower, soaking tub, and granite double vanity. The guest bedroom has a Queen size bed for a great night's sleep. The separate den is set up with a cute twin over full bunk bed to provide additional sleeping space for 3.
Wake up and take a look out the window at the beautiful, natural view. Decide if you want to go work out in the fitness room, swim in the heated and cooled pool, or take a scenic walk around the resort on long stretches of sidewalk. Want to go check out the white sand beaches and sparkling Gulf of Mexico? There is a resort shuttle that will take you to the private Beach Club, exclusively for use of owners and guests. At the beach club, there are servers that will bring food and drinks out to you on our squeaky clean white sand beaches. If you are looking for fun activities, check out what Xplorie's Perdido Keys to Fun program offers PKRM guests. Book a Deep Sea Fishing Charter or enjoy Perdido Key waterways by taking a Dolphin Cruise or Sunset Nature Cruise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo. It offered all the amenities we needed and was impeccably clean. However, there were only a few towels per bathroom, so you’ll need to wash often. The beach club and shuttle service were great, but unfortunately, beach chairs are no longer provided. There’s a beach rental service available.

The unit itself was very clean, and comfortable and it had everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. The experience with the property management company was good as well but there were some issues.
None of these are major issues but they are good to know if you are planning on staying there. Although the unit had everything you need, it was the bear, and I mean bear minimum. One roll of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, one trash bag. Again, these aren't huge deals but now you have to buy paper towels and toilet paper and trash bags and what if you flew here? Are you going to pack that all up? Just throw in a couple more of each and the problem is solved.
The bigger issue to me is the bait-and-switch with the photos. The first couple of images that show the balcony....that isn't the ocean or bay in the background, that's actually land but they clearly photoshopped it so the sky looks like water. The picture of the nice resort pool with the water features? You can't even use that pool. Same goes for the gym. Now there is another pool and a gym you can use but they arent as nice so they instead choose to show photos of something not even available with this unit. That is dishonest, misleading and intentional and it's not right. I would have stayed in this unit again but not after something like this. Show the real photos and let the people decide if it's good enough or not. That's my opinion at least.
