About this cabin rental

Come enjoy a fully furnished cabin in the quiet wooded hills of Hocking Hills area. Inside the beautifully cabin you will enjoy a living area with a TV, a full kitchen, and a full bathroom. Sleeping accommodations include two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a bunk bed. The sofa in the living area folds out as a full bed for extra guest. Cabin equipped with a TV in the bedroom, and a TV & DVD player centrally located in the main living area. Central air-conditioning and heat keep the cabin comfortable in all seasons. Your outdoor living space will include a front porch with chairs and a rocker. Each cabin has its own outdoor charcoal grill, composite picnic table, and a grassy area with a fire pit. The cabin is very small. I traveled with my partner, dog, and infant son. The living room/sitting area is really small. The beds were very uncomfortable. The location of the cabin is nice. It is easy to get groceries or go to the state park. The place itself was clean and in a family friendly area. It was just too small for our needs.

The cabin was just as advertised and stocked with everything we needed. It even had some things that other rentals we've stayed in have not offered such as body wash and shampoo. The property managers were responsive and helpful. We would stay again and would recommend to others.

The cabin was perfect for a long weekend. My husband and I stayed there with our 15 year daughter. We spent the weekend hiking and it was great to have a comfortable place to come back to each evening. The only downside was the lack of wifi. They did tell us ahead of time that it was down, but it would have been nice to have it.

We enjoyed the cabin, honestly didn’t spend much time there because we were riding the trails. Which consisted us of being at the trails all day and mostly night. However it was great coming back late at night to be able to shower and have a comfy place to sleep. This is our 2nd time at this resort and we will be back. I feel going through them direct may be cheaper because of all of the extras Vrbo charges.

On our first impression the property was clean, however I went to bed and found cookie crumbs in my bed and as I got out of bed found the rest of the cookie on the floor with my foot. No wi fi and no hot water in the bathroom sink. I feel a particial refund is warranted.

Placevwas coveredvin cobb webbs. I would think know it's going to be rented they would go through and make sure its clean. Also say it has WI-FI which it did not!! Told me the cibb webbs were because it's in the woods, but uts actually cuz it was not clean. Did tell me i go go to the community center for WI-FI or movies and why would I want to go elsewhere qhen I was told there is WI-FI. Also told two different story too no WI-FI. One was because its in the woods and the other because they were switching over. False advertisement. Also have pictures too verify it!!

We all enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean. The kids loved the bouncing pillow and bunk beds, the store had everything we needed that we forgot, it was quiet, and everyone was very friendly. Great location! Our only complaint was the AC unit is pretty loud and turned on and off frequently, but we were glad it works!

The cabin was very cute! We enjoyed our stay and loved hanging out on the porch. The place was very clean. The check out process seemed stranged. A lot of extra added to leaving the place. Like the clean up. Also the only other negative thing i would say is, it was advertised as having wifi but no one could connect at the cabin. Only at the building was there any internet access. Other than that jt took us way vack to simpler times.

Very clean and easy to get to. It was ready for us when we arrived. It is stocked with the basics for plates, glasses, bowls, & silverware. There were a few basic cooking / baking pots & pans. We cooked out over the fire, but if it was rainy or you wanted to cook a large meal inside, you may need to bring a few of your favorite pieces with you. Oddly there were no kitchen trash bags on site. I messaged them but didn’t hear back. $1.18 at WalMart solved that issue. My only frustration came with checkout— and I will acknowledge straight up that I can see both sides of the situation. We wanted to get 1 last hike in on our last day. With checkout at 11 it seemed very doable to make the last hike, get back & be out by 11. But I didn’t want to risk it, so we packed up with the plan to still stop back to change clothes / use facilities before leaving if we were back before 11, but if we were held up and running late, no big deal b/c we had our items out of the unit. We were in fact finished & made it back to the cabin about half an hour before the checkout time— but they had already gone in & cleaned everything despite our reservation being until 11. Like I said, I can see both sides, but it was a frustration. All in all though it was a great place to rest at the end of a long day of hiking.

Overall it was a great stay. There were plenty of towels, toiletries, blankets etc. We were super close to several hiking areas and only minutes away from town. The kids enjoyed the jumping pillow up by the campground lodge. The cabins could have been a little further apart but that can’t be helped. We would go back for sure.

It was a wonderful stay at Hocking Hills. Even though it was a small place, it was very clean and comfortable. We had a nice fire every night in the fire pit and front porch was very convenient to relax. My only complaint was water pressure was very low in the kitchen. We were able to manage.
