This amazing 5-bedroom home, just a short two-minute stroll to the oceanfront, is the place to be for your Hatteras Island getaway. It is perfect for families easily sleeping 8 adults and 4 children. Ocean and sound views can be seen from the decks of this lovely home.
From the moment you cross over Oregon Inlet and start cruising down North Carolina Highway 12, you will feel your stress melting away. Turning towards the ocean on Surf Side Drive, you are now only 30 seconds from TRIPLE FINS. Approaching the house you will see a cedar-sided beauty with under-house parking and welcoming decks.
On the first level, you will find a game room complete with wet bar including mini-fridge and microwave, and a pool table. You will also find direct access to the sparkling outdoor swimming pool with large concrete pool deck. A queen bedroom and a full bath can also be found on this level.
Moving up to the second level, you will find a king master bedroom with private bath that opens onto a private deck to spend time with your loved one. A queen bedroom and a pyramid bunk bedroom with trundle share a full bathroom off the hall and both open onto the ocean view deck. The relaxation continues as you soak your cares away in the hot tub on the second level deck with ocean view!
You will fall in love with the ocean and sound views on the top level, captured also from the open great room, kitchen, and dining area. High vaulted ceilings and a spacious floor plan give light to a bright interior -- complete with slider doors that open onto a beautiful sundeck. The king master bedroom with private bath, also located on this level, boasts views of both the ocean and sound. Really terrrible weather, so we had to leave for one night since the highway was flooded, but the house was lovely. Good value for money - great decks with partial views of the ocean. Really enjoyed the hot tub. Also used the pool once and the washer/dryer was very nice to have!

We were very grateful that they were able to get us into the home, after Hurricane Erin. We only lost 1/2 a day there. So we are thankful. Their communication was not the best initially (uncertain due to hurricane?), but once checked in, it was great. The property was good, including the pool. The house was very dirty though, with black mold in many places. We were concerned for the small children in the house breathing this in and contemplated asking for some money back but knew that would not likely happen. The carpet was not vacuumed and there was a lot of dog hair and even dog food in a pile in one of the bedrooms. The carpet was very dirty. Also a lot of water stains in ceilings. This home needs a good cleaning and some TLC. There were a couple broken kitchen cabinets, along with 2 broken chairs on the upper level deck. All this being said, we still had a great vacation!
