The house, built in the mid nineteenth century, particularly for the area and it is different from the typical farmhouses Reggio.

The appartment is well situated between Reggio nell Emilia, Modena and Bologna and not far from the lovely hills of the Appenin Mountains hence offering lots of opportunities for biking and hiking. It has a large terrace which invites for having breakfeast in the morning and dinner in the evening. For this we would have liked the kitchen to be better equipped. We would have also enjoyed contacts with the farmer.In summary, we liked this place.

We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family.

Apartment had plenty of space and a lovely terrace, just a pity that it is incredibly hot. There is no shade on the terrace, or at most of the windows. We purchased a fan from a nearby supermarket but it didn't relieve us from the heat that built up in the apartment. So we ended up leaving a few days earlier than scheduled.
