About this apartment rental
This first floor two bedroom one bath unit features high ceilings, hardwood floors, modern décor and an open-concept kitchen and living space. Kitchen features include imported Carrera Marble counter tops and Kitchen Aid appliances. Living room features 65” smart tv with cable and wifi so you can keep up-to-date with all your online streaming shows.
Grounds overlook Jaycee Park in the National Historic Fort Screven District which includes Soccer fields, basketball courts, shuffleboard, a playground and more. Tybee's bike path is great for touring the island and runs along the east side of the park.
Enjoy a short walk to North Beach to enjoy the sand and surf or a bite to eat at the North Beach Grill.
Free off-street parking for 2 vehicles makes staying on Tybee even easier for you and your guests.
Pool Seasonality: The Barracks Pool is open year-round. It is heated on the following date range:
October 1 – December 15
March 1 – May 30
The pool is not and will not be heated from December 15 through March 1 as the air temps are too cool to maintain an adequate swimming temp.
Cleaning Precautions: After each guest checks out, we have professional housekeepers clean each vacation home from top to bottom with disinfectant, wiping down all surfaces and floors. All towels and linens are professionally laundered and individually vacuumed packed until needed. When the housekeepers are complete a member of our team inspects the home, using gloves and/or disinfectant wipes, to ensure nothing was missed and restock any cleaning supplies. We strive to provide the most comfortable environment for your stay.
This unit can be combined to make four bedrooms with two and a half-bath unit.

This was one of the best and most relaxing stays we’ve had in Tybee. This place was amazing! The pool was a huge plus. We had a ton of space and got emails to check on us even during our stay. Bed was SO comfortable. We will be back again. This is our place now. The only thing I would change, and it’s very small was the room with bunk beds. It needs 2 twins and a dresser for clothes. Other than that the entire place was behind what we needed.

Overall, we had a great time at this property. The location is fantastic for families of small children. The pool was warm, clean, and convenient. The playground across the street was awesome. However, on our first night, our flight was delayed so we arrived around midnight to the property. The code to enter our unit was not set up properly, so we were locked out of the property. I had to scramble and find a nearby motel so that my daughter and I could sleep for the night. Ultimately, the property management company covered the cost of the night in the motel and the first night at this property. However, I would have much rather been able to settle in immediately. The floor of the unit strangely makes your feet really dirty, and my husband and I's necks are both sore a few days later from the pillows on the bed. Also, the WIFI extender didn't work so the only device we could connect was the TV without interruption. Also, the dishwasher was broken. Overall, it added up to a lot of problems over the course of four nights. For the nightly rate, it seems like these issues should have been avoided. However, this place has a lot of potential! The building itself is gorgeous and incredibly convenient for families.
