About this hostel

Sorell Barracks was built in 1827 by convicts for the Army Officers. It is a unique experience to spend time at the barracks to see and feel how people lived back in the 1800s. Heritage Listed Building Close to Airport Perfect location for access to both Hobart and Port Arthur a few minutes' walk from the main shopping district of Sorell which features major supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, and antique shops.
