About this apartment rental
Palazzo Ferretti since 2001 has offered six apartments to meet the needs of tourists and artists who want to stay in the historic center of Pietrasanta. Each apartment is dedicated to a historical figure related to Pietrasanta or its surroundings. Palazzo Ferretti is located on Via del Paduletto, one of the narrow streets in the restricted traffic zone (ZTL) of the historic center. The area, in the Middle Ages, was devoted to vegetable gardens and water cisterns for the city, as still transpires from the place names of the neighboring streets (via della Fontanella and vicolo delle Rane), as well as our own via del Paduletto.
Part of the palace dates back to the 1700s (Barsanti's bedchamber), part to the 1800s (the living rooms of Puccini, Marconi, Michelangelo and the rooms of Carducci and Michelangelo) and part to the 1960s (Collodi living room and Marconi room).
Within walking distance from Palazzo Ferretti are all the necessary services (bars, food and non-food stores, restaurants, cinema/theater) and you come to the beautiful Piazza del Duomo, at whose Caffè Michelangelo tourists and locals stop to admire the square.
The 200-square-meter garden is always available to guests for relaxing moments and is equipped with sunbeds, tables, umbrellas and a small barbecue.
The house is located in a Restricted Traffic Zone (ZTL). Free parking is within walking distance (10 minutes). Paid parking is 2-minute walking.
In each apartment you can find microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, safe, satellite TV, iron and ironing board, toaster, Wi-Fi network.
