The house was amazing and everything that we wanted. The views were stunning and it was hard to leave on checkout day. The only thing that I found a bit awkward was the lack of curtains in the upstairs rooms. We only used the owners suit and it was perfect, but no curtains at all. I thought I may have over looked them in the pictures but they aren't there. We aren't shy but with family and kids around we found the lack of curtains a bit uncomfortable. A quick trip to the dollar store for a shower curtain and Daiso for some washi tape and all was good. A quick fix and easily removeable. The view was epic don't get me wrong but we didn't want to be on display for all to see all the time. A perfect house. It could use some sheers or something in the owners suite and bathroom. I would also recommend that if you need plasticware for kids or elderly family members to bring some or get disposable items. The dishes were nice but heavy. We used some plasticware from the store. The window ac units are a touch loud but work great. Overall we really enjoyed our time there. The chickens running around help with early wake up calls and are fun. We loved the place and want to return in the future.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The family enjoyed the property. The kids loved the yard in the back, while the adults could watch them and enjoy the deck overlooking the ocean. The property isn't fancy, but it is clean and had everything we needed. 3 bathrooms is always helpful with 6 people and kids. There is some traffic noise, but we pretended it was the ocean (but bring plugs if that is an issue for you). Otherwise it is very private and a beautiful setting. We would return.

We loved this home and the views were spectacular. We even saw a couple of whales breaching from the back deck. We loved reading from the patio or relaxing on the balcony. Marcelo and Tony provided exceptional service when we needed help with one thing at the house.Location: Being right next to the main road made getting places quick. There were many beaches within a few minutes drive allowing us to do multiple outings a day. The Foodland grocery store is also just a 10 minute drive. We went to the south end twice and that 45min drive is an easy one.Noise/light: The one downside is the road noise. It was raining, which probably made it even louder when cars go by, but the top twin bed space has shutters for some of the "windows" so they don't block the noise like a solid wall and window would. The one window in that same space doesn't have a blind. There were some roasters near the chicken roost just outside the kitchen/twin bedroom downstairs that let you know when they woke up.Supplies: The kitchen is well stocked. We were pleasantly surprised to see dishwasher soap, garbage bags, and hand soap in the bathrooms. We did need our own shampoo/body wash and laundry detergent. There were 2 beach chairs, some mats, snorkels and water shoes of different sizes.Beach: There is sand for a few feet at the beach, but then it is the grooved lava rock which can be slick where the algae grows. You can walk a decent distance in either direction, it is a great backyard beach.

not great. We tried really hard to focus on the couple things we did like about this property, the location & quiet beach access. The rest of it was subpar and cheap especially for the price. We always stay in VRBOs or the like because we prefer to buy fresh whole foods and prepare our own meals. This was the poorest quality kitchen we’ve dealt with to date. We had to buy several kitchen items to make due- a sharp knife, meat thermometer, a chimney for the briquette BBQ. This is the first rental we’ve ever had to buy TP, paper towels, laundry soap. The dishwasher is worthless. toaster works just barely, & very intermittently. fridge/freezer went out several times & spoiled much of our costco grocery haul. no wifi except for briefly one single evening of our 7 night stay. cheapest china junk throughout kitchen. Home alarm censor over one slider failed during our stay. washer reeked of mildew on arrival. I had to do a hot empty cycle with bleach and a second hot cycle w/baking soda to try to decrease the smell so our clothes didn’t get ruined. It still stunk up the whole house. there wasn’t even a dustpan & broom inside to keep up on floors. just an outdoor broom for the deck. the neighbor’s exterior light shines brightly into the one downstairs kid’s room, kids had to share the other room. none of the bathroom soap dispensers work. poor water pressure. And the right hand sink in the upstairs master bathroom drains super slow. overall wouldn’t recommend this place.
