We stayed at this rental for a week with a group of nine and had a wonderful experience. The house was very spacious — even with a full group, we never felt crowded. The location was ideal, close to our main destination and convenient for getting around.One of the best parts was the peaceful atmosphere. It was quiet and relaxing, and the kids loved seeing deer outside in the mornings and evenings — a real treat! We also appreciated the numerous TVs throughout the house, which made it easy for the younger kids and teens to unwind in separate areas at night. The toys provided were a nice bonus and helped keep the little ones entertained.There were a couple of areas that could be improved. The lack of a microwave made it harder to prep quick meals or reheat leftovers — especially important with children who eat things like easy mac or instant oatmeal. Also, during our stay it was in the 90s, and while box fans were provided, air conditioning would have made the warm nights more comfortable.That said, the positives far outweighed the negatives. It was a comfortable, well-located, family-friendly home, and we would definitely stay here again!

House seemed recently updated and in nice condition. If you're looking for a peaceful and quiet house, this is perfect for that. It is in the country on a hillside & no neighbors. A little bit uphill driveway, but we managed it fine. Unfortunately it was raining and we didn't get a chance to enjoy the deck, but it seemed like a great place for morning coffee or nighttime cocktail. We had a party in Bennington, VT and it was only 20 minutes away. Bennington College had their graduation, so everything there was booked, but I'm glad we found this place. Had a small issue getting a hold of the property manager for an earlier check-in. Ended up calling VRBO and they got a hold of the owner right away. She called immediately and was very pleasant to work with and we were able to check-in early.
