Fall Colors
From mid-September to mid-October, the aspens turn gold and the whole forest glows. It’s pure Rocky Mountain magic—and your best shot at a photo op with a moose in the mist
Important Notes
AWD/4x4 with winter tires is recommended November–April
Quiet hours respected — we’re part of a peaceful, moose-friendly community
Moose Manor stays cozy in the winter and at 8,800 ft it stays cool in the summer. For extra comfort, ceiling fans are complemented by portable fans and a portable AC unit, though the mountain breeze through open windows and sliding doors is usually all you’ll need.
Accessibility: Moose Manor has step free access (see exterior photos). The master bedroom is on the ground floor. There is a handle to enter and exit the ground floor shower.
Being in the mountains, antenna signal for local channels can be a bit spotty. Feel free to use the included internet channels available on most TVs or log in with one of your subscriptions.
No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property ($500 fine will be assessed)
Finally...
Moose Manor isn’t just a mountain home—it’s an invitation to slow down, breathe deep, and live a little wilder. Whether you're watching stars above the aspens, soaking in silence with a mug in hand, or waiting for a moose to wander past your window, this is a place to reconnect—with nature, loved ones, and yourself.
