About this cottage rental
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located on a beautifully landscaped 1 acre lot at the end of the road, this tiny home style cottage is perfect for families and friends. You will have access to a private beach, plenty of dockage, kayaks, your own fire pits and BBQ, several outdoor patio/lounging areas, satellite tv, wifi, and of course the great view of lake. You will be staying in a custom build Aframe Cottage. This cottage was featured in Cottage living Magazine in the 1990’s. Drive right up to the cottage and enter through an oversized patio door that provides a stunning view of the lake. Once you enter you will see the kitchenette, dining and living room, full bathroom, and 2 bedrooms on the main floor. There is a custom built spiral staircase that leads to the third bedroom loft which is open concept. The oversized patio doors lead to your own private deck that over looks your own yard space, BBQ, and fire pit area. This is not a shared space, it is all yours! Other shared space’s include a gazebo with patio down by the beach, large decks overlooking the lake, a couple docks in a protected harbour and a large manicured lawn with a beautifully landscaped yard. Located at the end of the road, you will find your little slice of heaven with almost all the amenities nearby

We stayed in the A-Frame cottage for my best friend’s birthday weekend and had a wonderful time.
One thing to note is that I initially misread the listing and didn’t realize the property and dock were shared with the neighbouring cottage. That said, it wasn’t an issue during our stay, as everyone seemed to naturally take turns enjoying the space. Knowing that now, I would definitely consider renting both cottages together for a larger group next time.
There were a few minor hiccups at the beginning regarding visitors, likely due to it being early in the season, but Jennifer was great to work with and we were able to sort everything out.
The cottage itself was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the views were absolutely stunning. We loved the beach, the aesthetic of the A-Frame, and the incredible sunrises and sunsets. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway.
Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back. Thanks, Jennifer!

Lovely property and natural environment, conveniently situated. Clean and well-supplied. Communications with host good but last-minute, resulting in slight inconvenience: it would have helped to know we needed to bring bath towels before we embarked on our travels.

It was a lovely location. Hostess was very responsive. A great place to stay and chill and enjoy Manitoulin.
