I have stayed in the Bayside area resort yearly for over 35 years. Everything about this unit was top shelf and was close to everything. We enjoyed our stay and would stay in this unit next time we come down if it it available. You will not regret your time here.

We really wanted to love the rental. I am very confused with the perfect reviews. It was DIRTY. If you walked barefoot (inside only), your feet would turn black immediately. We had to make the decision to leave our shoes on inside the whole week. It was uncomfortable and made us not want to be there, and even worse when you have young children who touch everything. It was also really beat up and worn. A huge dent taken out if the corner of the wall, lots of chips off the trim, black spots around the fan on the ceiling in the master bathroom, dirt spots all over the doors where people had touched the door and not the handle. It was as if had not been cleaned other than the toilets, mirrors and countertops. When you notice all of this you wonder what else is dirty, because other than the obvious damage you could NOT tell the floor was dirty to the naked eye, so it’s tricky and more bothersome. If I was the owner of the rental I would be making some changes or wish to be better informed of what shape things are in and the cleanliness. The listing photos are outdated in this category. Positives- the location was ideal for what we were looking for. The size and layout was accurate and ideal for us. The decorations were also nice and as pictured. We were naturally able to spend most of our day outside. If you don’t care about cleanliness you will not be bothered. Overall, we would stay in Baytowne Wharf again, but we would NOT stay in this unit.
