5-star vacation home “Thor’s Schleilounge,” located directly on the Schlei and the Baltic Sea with a view of the water—the perfect place to treat yourself and your partner or family to a well-deserved break from everyday life in the Baltic Sea resort of Olpenitz The 5-star vacation home "Thor’s Schleilounge" accommodates 4 people and features high-end amenities across 140 m². The many large glass walls give the house a particularly spacious and open feel. Underfloor heating provides cozy warmth throughout the house, and the crackling wood-burning stove in the living room invites you to enjoy quiet, cozy evenings on the leather couch. From the living room, you have direct access to the large veranda that surrounds the vacation home and the fenced-in garden. Enjoy the sunny hours in the “Treibgut” armchairs or on the “Strandgut” lounge set with a direct view of the Schlei and the Baltic Sea… Should the weather ever be less than ideal, you can still enjoy relaxing moments in the hot tub and the sauna.
The vacation home’s spacious living area features comfortable leather furniture, a wood-burning stove, and a dining area, a luxurious open-concept kitchen with a cooking island and kitchen counter, as well as various technical features, such as an ice maker and the ability to raise and lower the flat-screen 3D TV. The technical amenities also include free Wi-Fi, a BOSE surround sound system, Blu-ray and DVD players, a safe, a washing machine, and a dryer. The lighting throughout the house can be controlled via a remote, and the skylights are equipped with electric shutters.
Our guests can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep in the comfortable double bed on the large, glass-enclosed loft with a view of the water. The designer sleeper sofa for two people in the ground-floor study offers additional sleeping accommodations.
Supplies can be stored in the utility room. In front of the house, there is a carport and an additional parking space. Bicycles you bring with you can be stored in the garden shed. This beautiful vacation home is located in the Baltic Sea resort of Olpenitz, right on the Schlei, and offers a wonderful view of the water—the Baltic Sea inlet and the Schlei estuary. As a district of the city of Kappeln, the Baltic Sea resort of Olpenitz offers a uniquely beautiful location right on the water, and the nearest beach is only about 400 meters away. The nearest natural Baltic Sea beach is located in the neighboring bay at Weidefeld, just 2 km from Olpenitz.
The center of Kappeln is only about 6 km from the resort and offers a variety of restaurants and cafés right on the harbor; fish lovers can look forward to the Föh fish smokehouse—where you can enjoy delicious fish specialties on the terrace while basking in the sun. The pedestrian zone is perfect for strolling; here you’ll find numerous lovely shops and boutiques. Kappeln is an ideal starting point for bike rides and walks: along the Schlei, there are many charming villages to explore and fields of rapeseed to admire. Boat tours on the Schlei and the Baltic Sea are also available.
Note: Our vacation rental is located in the OstseeResort Olpenitz—this new vacation resort is currently still under construction and expansion, so construction activity on the grounds is to be expected. The travel prices have already been adjusted to reflect this.

Initial linens included (bed linens and towels); additional changes available on-site for €15 per person
Dogs are welcome and are charged an additional €10 per night per dog. A maximum of 1 dog (height at withers 50 cm) is permitted; cats are not allowed.
Firewood for the fireplace: €10 per basket; billed on-site based on consumption
A baby kit (consisting of a travel crib, high chair, and stair gate) can be provided free of charge upon request.
Additional services available upon request and bookable directly with the property owner for a separate fee:
- Pet fee: €10.00 per night
- Linen change during your stay (per person): €15.00 one-time fee

Fantastisches, eigenwilliges, extrem gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus! !
Ein zunächst vor allem gemütlich wirkendes Haus mit Privatsphäre, im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen hier. Mit Garten vor und hinter dem Haus, direkt an der Schlei und dem Naturschutzgebiet. Aber dann ist es soviel mehr. Die Rückseite zum Wasser ist komplett verglast über 2 Etagen. Die Liebe zum Detail bestimmt hier die wundervolle Atmosphäre, die einen sofort beim Eintreten einlädt zu bleiben. Wunderschöne Perspektiven auf das Wasser zu beiden Seiten, das Aufwachen im Schlafzimmer offen zu beiden Etagen ist großartig mit Blick aufs Wasser, fantastische Ausstattung, hochwertige Küche,, riesige Speisekammer , Terrassen und viele Plätze , Ecken, Hauswirtschaftsraum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner, offen gestaltet, aber auch in einzelne Bereiche zu schließen, großes Hauptbad mit geräumiger Sauna, Schwalldusche und Mehrsdüsendusche Whirlpoolbadewanne, Stauraum en masse , Lichtsituationen, die je nach Laune und Wunsch die Atmosphären wechseln mit wasserdichten Bedienungsanleitungen, Strandkorb, Aussengrill, Gartenmobiliar, große Screens, Surroundanlage, Bücher im ganzen Haus … ein schönes Arbeitszimmer noch dazu … hier wurde an so viele Details gedacht wie ich es selten erlebt habe . Die Kommunikation ist perfekt, sowohl zur sehr netten Verwaltung , vor allem deren Willkommen und Fûhrung, und zum Besitzer, von dem man auch gute Tips für die Umgebung bekommt und der sich für seine Mieter interessiert. Und sofort fûhlt man sich zuhause im perfekten Haus. Das ist die perfekte Location um wirklich zu relaxen. Wir kommen wieder !!! Kürzer ging es nicht in Worte zu fassen !
