About this villa rental
Located on Vanua Levu, second largest island in the Fiji Islands. Savusavu our picturesque township is only 15 minutes away is well known for its active bubbling hot springs and is also home to hunter pearls, producers of the world reputed black pearl. Savusavu Bay with its natural deep waters is a popular port for international yachts sailing through the south pacific. The world famous Jean-Michel Cousteau Fiji islands resort is adjacent to our lodge.
Our lodge has unrestricted magnificent ocean views, beach at your doorstep great swimming /snorkeling/diving
Dining & Entertainment: There are a number of excellent restaurants in town a 15 minute drive away or enjoy fine dining at the Jean-Michel Cousteau Fiji Island Resort, your neighbors, just a few minutes walk down the road. Please note only prior bookings will be accepted.
Activities: Beach at your doorstep with great swimming and snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boating. Bush and Rain Forest walking within the property area. Trip to the Pearl farm and factory can be arranged.
A nine hole golf course is 30 minutes away at the Koro Sun Resort.
If you stay timing is right, watch a family of whales and dolphins swim by the house.

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is quite nice, the location was excellent. A couple of things didn’t match the listing (no hot tub, bbq is rusty and unusable) the kitchen could use some newer and matching glasses. (Random and mismatched) the property is large and beautiful. The location is stunning with good snorkeling across the road.

I’m giving this property a “just okay” rating and all concerns have been relayed to the host, for their attention. What we liked: Location is fantastic! Savusavu is an amazing place to visit. Snorkeling just steps away, beautiful beach, quiet neighborhood, loved the patio and practically lived on it.What was a miss for us: Upon arrival, we had an issue with the cleanliness of the property. It appeared the rental hadn’t been cleaned for some time or the cleaners just did a quick run through. Overall, the furnishings and supplies were dated and a bit overused. An aesthetic refresh would do wonders. Had issues with the wi-fi the whole time we were there and never were able to get the tv to work. Okay, so we get it, it is a remote location but it was one of the reasons we chose this place was because it offered wi-fi, so I don’t know if it is just this location or a misrepresentation of the rental. TV would have been nice to wind down at night or in the morning.We are not super fussy people. We travel often and understand you don’t get the “comforts” of home but the state of the rental was a big downer for us.The host was responsive to our internet questions and it kind of started working but it was intermittent and inconsistent. We just kind of dropped the issue, feeling like that is the best we would get.Hope this information is helpful. Safe travels to all!
