About this resort
Additionally, the resort provides its owners and guests a courtesy, complimentary shuttle for getting to or from town. The shuttle leaves from the resort, and you simply call for your ride home. I don't think there is more convenient lodging in all of Breckenridge.
The condo itself gives you complete flexibility. The unit sleeps 8 comfortably and 4 privately. It consists of a master suite and a studio suite that can be locked off for ultimate privacy, or left open completely for the whole gang. Both units have king beds in their bedrooms and sleeper sofas with queen mattresses in their living areas. The studio has its own well equipped kitchenette. The main unit offers a full sized kitchen completely equipped with literally everything but the food - so convenient when you want to "ski-in" for a quick bite to eat, or for planning a full "stay at home dinner" when you want a night in. It includes granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and bar seating, and opens up to the dining area and the living area, with its gas fireplace, balcony, and flat-screen TV. Other features include free heated underground parking, complimentary wireless internet and your own washer/dryer combo.
The resort's multiple indoor/outdoor swimming pools (including a children's pool) and hot tubs are always tempting after a day on the slopes. The outdoor hot tubs located on the rooftop lounge offer unparalleled breathtaking views of Peak 8. Too tired to cook? Grand Colorado's very own Robbie's Tavern is always a good choice between runs, for happy hour, for lunch or for dinner, offering upscale comfort food, craft beer, handcrafted cocktails and world class wines. Their outdoor seating looks directly over Peak 8. Other amenities include a game room, their signature Infinity Spa and adults-only grotto, and their state of the art fitness center with floor to ceiling views of the mountain. For a lazy evening at home, choose from over 150 movies to play in your own private theater by reserving one of the resorts three theaters, with seating from 6 to 9. Or take a spin around Grand Colorado's very own ice rink!
Activities abound in Breckenridge! Besides downhill skiing and snowboarding, other options include snowmobiling, tubing and sledding, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, snow-cat tours, sleigh rides and even dog sledding! The Grand Colorado's concierge is happy to help plan any or all of your adventures. Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Copper, and A-Basin are a short drive or bus route away, and can be combined on some of the many types of ski passes offered. And don't forget the charming town of Breckenridge. Known for its excellent world class restaurants, art galleries, shops, pubs and night life - take a walk down Main Street and you will fall in love with this magical town!
You won't run out of things to do in Breckenridge, either at the resort or around town. It's absolutely one of my very favorite places, and I know it will be yours too!
