8 / 10Excellent·May 2026
The house was very clean and all beds and bedding very comfortable. The location is quiet and only 5 minutes to a grocery store. The large, fenced back yard is very handy if traveling with your canine companion and there are two off leash walking areas within a 5 minute walk from the house which is great. We found the house a bit dark overall, with a lack of overhead lighting in some rooms, but that is of course personal preference. In our experience (and we own a VRBO property) there are two types of kitchens: those that were intially stocked with all new items in a conscious manner and those that have a mishmash of previously used leftovers from the owners' inventory. This house falls in the second category and if you plan on cooking all meals, you might find it lacking some basic kitchen implements and enough unchipped plates to serve all your group. Again, this is personal preference and if you are looking to soak up a vintage vibe for your stay, then this is your place.

The house was just as described. This was our second stay in this home, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. We sat on the patio in the afternoon and enjoyed the covered porch in the evening.
