About this house rental
Walter House – a beach getaway that is literally steps from the beach.
Just a short stroll from town and beautiful rolling waves, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people.
Step through the front door and find yourself in a quaint living room where you will be greeted by a rustic stone fireplace which will keep you nice and warm on cold, stormy nights. A luxurious, L-shaped couch, and large, flat-screen TV provide the perfect place to stretch out and relax after a lively day at the beach.
The kitchen is fully equipped and even leads to its own little reading nook with a lovely outside view. The dining room is located to the right of the kitchen and features a sizable table with plenty of room for everyone to share warm meals and fun, family games.
Walter House's full, downstairs bathroom is located in the laundry room, which can be accessed through the kitchen or the back deck. This means that after some seashore fun, you can quickly clean those sandy clothes in the wash and rinse off that salt water in the shower, while keeping your beach abode nice and sand free.
Climb the stairs to the second floor where you will see Walter House's 3 bedrooms. To the right, you will find the master, replete with a comfy, king bed and flat-screen TV. Next door lies another queen bed with a wonderful view of the charming neighborhood. The third bedroom, across the hall, contains two twin beds, a perfect spot for the kids. All 3 bedrooms share easy access to the full, upstairs bathroom, which contains a delightful soaking tub — when bubbles and a glass of wine are in order.
Outside, the front porch is the ideal place to greet the rising sun with a warm cup of coffee, while the round, patio table on the back deck is excellent for outdoor meals or a game of Scrabble on balmy evenings. The small, fenced in backyard still provides enough room for a game of tag or touch football. This is also a great place to sit out at night and watch the stars.
You are welcome to bring your dog buddy with you! Please know there's a $60 plus tax fee per dog per stay.

Was great - only 1 thing was the oven stopped working on day 1. No fault just bad timing. Would have been 5 if that didnt happen. Otherwise fantastic

The location is fantastic! It seemed a wee ridiculous to have to stop by the rental office to get the keypad code when it could be texted or emailed as others do. The box holding the paper with the code was a struggle to open. Otherwise the place was clean comfortable. Be aware there is only one (1) shower and as this is an older home the stairs are very steep. Otherwise it was a fabulous stay and when we called w questions the staff was always great!
