About this house rental
Quiet neighborhood and a couple blocks walk into downtown Glens Falls, with 2 theaters, the Ice hockey stadium, history museum, many restaurants, live music and art galleries.
centrally located between Saratoga and Lake George
On a quiet street with off street parking , you would never know you are so close to restaurants, shops and museums. Close to the 87 highway and easy access to Saratoga and Lake George, both 15 minutes away.
The space
Newly renovated two bedroom house on gorgeous large lot in quiet safe neighborhood and 10 minute walking distance to downtown Glens Falls. The house was built during the Civil War and has a nice front porch, a beautiful yard abutting a park so it feels like you are in the country although you just a few minutes from thriving downtown Glens Falls where you will find restaurants, shopping and more.
The kitchen has new appliances and stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware and cookware. There are 2 steeps between the kitchen/dinning room and the rest of the house.
There is a newly renovated bathroom on the first floor. The living room is furnished with sofa, Oriental rug, a smart TV, and the electric fireplace.
The only bathroom is on the first floor with bed rooms on the second. The stairs are quite steep and narrow, as is typical of old houses.
The two bedrooms which are on the second floor are charming with sloped walls but have fairly low (6’3”) ceilings so as long as you’re not really tall, you’ll feel cozy. Master bedroom has king size bed plus futon couch/bed, and the other bedroom has two double bed.
There is a washer and dryer on the first floor, parking for one car and shed for bicycle storage.

Older home, reminded me of my childhood home. Lots of games, stuff for kids. Neighborhood is quiet but not friendly. Couple things in kitchen didnt work and were unaware but we made it work. Letting people know would be helpful. Comfortable stay, stairs were a little difficult. Not handicapped friendly. Enjoyed our stay.

The location was great !!! This place I would say is great for pets which we didn’t have the location is great to lake George and Saratoga . Wasn’t really the VRBO we were looking for definitely a cottage style place great for kids plenty of games and movies and a yard and playground down the street
