We are an hour from Matera, from Venosa, from Grumentum and from the Ionian coast. With a quarter of an hour more you reach Maratea, the pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The mountains are not our strength, with its natural and tourist attractions: in 10 minutes you can reach the ski slopes of Sellata, in 15 minutes you reach the Ponte alla Luna in Sasso di Castalda and the 20 minutes the Flight of the Angel, on the Lucanian Dolomites. The house is very pretty and with the all the charm of a old house in the countryside. The fireplace completes the image. Everything was very clean. The garden is great: very large with cherry trees, wild strawberries and lots of roses. In the evening we could even see fireflies. The house is 10 min drive from the city and very close to the lake. The street to reach it is very narrow at the end. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. My kids ruined the beddings of one bad by mistake and the owner was very understanding. She even came the same day to bring clean ones. We had a very pleasant stay.
