Get the feeling of touching the magnificent Dome!!Charming, bright and very peaceful penthouse (1100 square feet) with incredible 360 degrees views over the main monuments, Duomo, the Palazzo Vecchio, Orsanmichele, and even distant San Miniato and Forte Belvedere! The apartment has been furnished with italian,Tuscan style and finely finished. The apartment featuring terracotta flooring and beamed high roof has two spacious bedrooms, each with its attached bathroom: one bedroom-with double bed plus single bed- is large and homey, offering nice view over Giotto Belltower and Duomo's Dome. Other one offers a romantic breathtaking view of Duomo's Dome; set between the two rooms, a large,spacious living room-provided with modern fully equipped kitchen- which leads out to a private terrace with incredible views onto the roofs, highest towers of the City and over the beautiful Hills;sun will shine on the terrace from 9/10 o'clock onwards, making the living area (through 4 large windows) very bright and airy.
You benefit from a lovely private terrace where you can either get good tan,have a lovely italian meal or more simply sip a tasty chilled limoncello in the eve with staggering lights of Florence right before your eyes!! It is set on the top floor of an elegant palace literally a stone's throw from the Duomo.There's also a lift so you do not have to worry carrying luggage up the stairs.

We stayed in this beautiful apartment for over a week while visiting our daughter abroad. We enjoyed our views of the Duomo and took full advantage of the beautiful outdoor terrace. We loved having space to move and a place to come back to with our daughter and other 3 children after dinner to sit, hang and continue to catch up. Marco is the most gracious host. Communication was fabulous, he checked in often and had great recommendations as well. This place and location right in the heart of this spectacular city will not disappoint.

We are 3 sisters in our 70s who had a five day stay at this wonderful apartment in Florence. We were so impressed with Marco and his prompt communication and warm welcome.The apartment was perfect for our needs and was very accurately described in the VRBO listing. But, the most outstanding feature of all was the location. When the listing says that the apartment is a 2 minute walk from the Duomo that is literally true. We would love to have the opportunity to stay there again.

We could not be happier with this apartment. We were greeted by Marco and he welcomed us with wine, chocolates and savory crackers. Marco is very quick to reply to messages. He is an incredible host. His property has been updated but it still maintains the charm of old Italy. You truly feel like you are at your nonnas home. We were able to enjoy caffe each morning thanks to his moka pots and coffee that Marco provided. The terrace is an added bonus. Beautiful views from all windows and the terrace. The lift made it so nice for our elderly aunt and uncle. We loved having 3 bathrooms!The location is perfection. Close proximity for the walking the town but also easy to use the taxi app for further destinations. If you’re looking for great location, old world charm with modern amenities like a lift, more than one bathroom and air conditioning, this place is for you! We hope to return soon!

Our host Marco was wonderful! So helpful with making suggestions- and helping with arrangements - greeted us with wineand chocolates. Apartment well appointed - even had outlet switches for current. And it’s in a great location for sightseeing, meals, shopping Would definitely recommend
