As of 10/5/26: No beach access. Welcome to Buttercup Cottage! Instantly feel at peace as you enter through the bright and cheery yellow door. This lake cottage, located between Ashtabula Harbor and GOTL, is the perfect place to relax, have a glass of wine, and enjoy a good book. Play some lawn games in the private backyard and sit around the outdoor fire pit. Ready for a beach day? Pack up some beach chairs and a cooler and walk down to the private community beach where you will practically have the lake all to yourself!

It was the perfect weekend! From the cozy comfy cottage, relaxing backyard, lovely neighbors and short walk to the beach, no other words seem appropriate. The hosts are so kind and responsive and truly have the best place to stay. Highly recommend and cannot wait to stay again!

Very nice Cottage right by the lake. The owners, Dave and Kate, had excellent communication. The cottage has a dishwasher and ice machine in the fridge, which was really appreciated. The decor, kitchen items and little touches throughout were very thoughtfully done. There are even condiments and seasonings for guests to use. I will definitely be back for another visit!

The home is beautiful and very comfortable. It’s in walking distance to a lot of places to see, and a short drive to the beaches and attractions. Our group was 3 60 year olds that have been friends since the age of 18. We would definitely stay here again.
