THE COTTAGE
KITCHEN – Updated kitchen with beautiful floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, recessed lighting, large double sink under window, lots of counter space, modern appliances – Stove/Oven, Microwave, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, toaster, Keurig coffee machine & fully stocked with dish sets, silverware, pots and pans, cups, mugs - everything needed to prepare meals.
LAUNDRY - Full size washer and dryer located in basement.
BEDROOMS – Pillows, blankets, bed sheets, and bath towels are provided.
Bedroom 1: 1st floor bedroom with single size bed, desk, and chair (for remote working needs) surrounded by 3 windows.
Bedroom 2: 2nd floor Master bedroom with Queen size bed
Bedroom 3: 2nd floor bedroom with 1 Queen and 1 single size bed, TV.
*Living Room provides additional sleeping area with double size pullout bed
LIVING ROOM - Bright, comfortable living room with shiplap ceiling & hardwood flooring provides an ideal gathering place with large leather couch (double size pullout bed), oversized chair, rocking chair, and bay window with seating. Watch your favorite shows as usual on the large, flat-screen Smart TV with streaming services, or curl up in front of the stone fireplace with hand-painted tiles. Corner built-in desk and bookcase too! A set of French doors leads directly onto the porch. Opens into DINING ROOM with modern stool seating at table for 6.

This cozy, rustic home in Mount Gretna is in the most adorable community we've every stayed in. The area's natural landscape and beauty feels like a woodsy fairy land, quiet and serene. The road coming to the house are one-way, very tight, but again, adorable! With 3 bedrooms, we were comfortable with 5 adults and a 4 yr old. The small bedroom/office off the living room is quaint and good for a teen. Bedrooms upstairs were clean with only 1 queen bed being very hard and uncomfortable. Some of the windows we're missing screens so we couldn't leave them open at night. The kitchen was well stocked, all appliances available and working. There's a working fireplace we didn't need to use, but we did spend a lot of time just sitting on the large deck in the evening, where rocking chairs were plenty. The house sit's high off the ground for a good view. The Jigger Ice cream Parlor was a very close walk, along with a playground, just down the road. The location is about 40 minutes from Lancaster, where we went during the day. Driving around the area, down country roads is breathtaking. We plan on another trip to Mount Gretna again!

Cute cottage on quiet street in endearing Mount Gretna. Hopefully the property owners have added a pasta pot, utensil to clean the grill, a good supply of dishwasher liquid, and new bed pillows.
