Villa Teide Sol with heated pool and air conditioning, Playa Fañabe, Costa Adeje

Location excellent with only a three minute walk to a large supermarket and local restaurant's, bar, shops and cinema. 15 min walk to the main area, beach and numerous restaurants. The pool at the villa was a good size for a swim and enjoyed by all. Rolando was an excellent host and always available for any issues, advice etc. Our main complaint was the state of the linen which was replaced after the first week but frankly it all needs to be renewed. The pillows in our room on the ground floor after you take the covers off were in a poor condition and stained. When we first arrived the towels left were old and at our request Rolando immediately replaced them. Needs a chopping board in the kitchen and minor issues like no salt/pepper pots were something which we would expect for a large Villa which costs a significant amount to rent. We had an excellent holiday in a good Villa in an excellent position. Rolando a charming host needs to address the minor and not particularly expensive upgrades to bring it up to 5 star quality

We chose the villa because of location. It states a 1 min walk to the beach,it’s not it’s on the other side of the motorway and a 14 minute walk which is up hill on the way back. picture's of the villa must have been taken years ago. The villa needs attention,towels and bedding need replacing. The kitchen could do with a deep clean and all rooms could do with painting. The pool was okay but the line of stick on tiles are coming off and it’s got black mould on it. The owner contacted me twice and popped round about the pool, he must know there is an issue as he had concerns about it becoming cloudy. The bbq grill needs attention and pool table needs some tlc. The air con is only in the bedrooms, we had cockroaches in the bathrooms. I could put up with most things but the misrepresentation of location upset me most, this was planned to be a final holiday with all the family together, making memories and having fun but location spoilt that.
