Perfectly nestled in the wooded quiet of Lake Toxaway, Seminole Cottage invites guests to enjoy a peaceful mountain retreat away from the rush of everyday life. Sleeping six, this three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath home offers flexible accommodations, from the master’s king-sized bed to the additional bedroom’s queen and twin trundle.
The living room features floor-to-ceiling windows, a stone-stacked fireplace, and satellite television to complete the cozy ambiance. The fully equipped kitchen includes both large and small appliances, making cooking and snacking a breeze. Share meals around the six-person dining table, then unwind on the front porch where you can relax and take in the crisp mountain air.
For added convenience, the cottage provides free Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, a gas grill, and lake access to enhance your stay. Guests may also enjoy Lake Toxaway Country Club amenities, including the swimming pool, tennis courts, and more.

Incredible location and beautiful home! It’s tucked away in the woods for a cozy and serene spot to spend time with the family. It’s a quick walk to the lake and country club for beautiful views and tons of amenities! We also took a quick day trip into Cashiers. The kitchen is fully stocked and beds are very comfortable. It was the perfect getaway spot. We just wish we could have stayed longer!

Our guests were to take possession at 4:00pm on 6/4. At 3:05pm, I received a call that the cleaning crew had just arrived and the facilities would not be ready until about 6. This was unacceptable since our guests had driven from Florida and we had a 6:00pm dinner reservation. We negotiated for 5:00pm and arrived at 5:05 and the cleaning crew and their vehicles were still there. This added to our frustration due to the lack of adequate parking and maneuvering room. We have had a home at Toxaway since 1988 and this was not a good introduction to our first Lake Toxaway rental and would probably be hesitant to do so in the future.
