Perfect slice of Western PA cabin living!

Clean, historic cabin was delightful! Upgraded in kitchen (dishwasher, oven, coffee maker, refrigerator with ice maker- made it easy loading our water bottles for hiking)and bathrooms. Lovely property with 3 acres- we heard turkeys & pileated woodpeckers, saw deer, northern house wrens & a hummingbird! One of the first things I noticed was poke milkweed (Asclepius exaltata) near the hammock- very cool native plant that supports monarch butterflies. We used the cabin as a base for area hiking(Laurel Highlands, Wolf Rocks, Beam Rocks), some geocaching, and went as far as Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water and Ohiopyle State Park. I will miss taking my coffee out to the front porch to listen to the birds each morning.

The cabin is quiant & peaceful. Easy check in, good communication, kitchen has everything we needed. It is very clean also which was a big plus for us. We enjoyed our stay.
