Sean was a very kind host, a mix up happened with my booking and he fixed everything right away and was very accommodating and gave me plenty of recommendations. The area is beautiful, close to many hiking and skiing trails. The town is very small and quiet, the perfect escape. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the listing is very accurate.

This is kind of like staying in a cabin. It is rustic. Very cleanfor an old building. If you look at the pictures it is what it is along with the price. The biggest draw back for us is it reeks from smoke. Whether it's from long time smokers living there or people who live downstairs, I don't know. They don't allow smoking now but it really needs an ozone machine. I hate writing a bad review but you need to look closely at the pictures. It was a convenience for us to stay in that location which is right downtown.

The apartment was very"rustic". I think the owner really cares and is doing the best they can. However, it was not what I anticipated or hoped for.There is a very strong cigarette smell as you enter the house and we smelled it again when we went to bed. From the front door, you go up a flight of stairs to a sliding wooden door. Down the hall to the left is the kitchen which seemed well stocked. But the kitchen was very dated. (Kind of like visiting Great Aunt Sarah's house). To the right you will find two bedrooms and a living room. There did not seem to be any central heating. There was a large furnace in the living room and an electric stove in the bedroom. One of the bedrooms had a single bed. Someone had clearly been sleeping in it. I contacted the owner and he told me no one had been there for three weeks. (We locked the doors and set up booby traps with our shoes in case someone tried to join us...). That room led into a bathroom which also connected with the main bedroom. That bed was very old. It was a double, but every time one moved the bed rolled. It was terribly uncomfortable. Needless to say, between the bed and our concern that someone would be joining us, we had very little sleep. I don't wish to be unkind, but I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this place.
