Very charming cottage. The host was very friendly and very responsive. I would have rated 10/10 if not for the following: although the place was clean, it smelled very damp and was very humid; the internet was not suitable for heavy usage (although the host informed me on our departure day that the lines will be upgraded within the next few weeks); there are hidden fees not mentioned on the site for towels and sheets, along with extra fees for electricity usage.Apart from that, the location is fantastic and all the amenities were as described (except that there is actually no hot tub, I believe it's a listing mistake).If you're looking for a homebase to visit the surrounding Angers, and castles, etc. this is a great place!

We were welcomed very cordially by helpful hosts. The property was well equipped if a little dark. Just one suggestion for improvement- more comfortable garden seating.

Delightful ancient cottage charmingly arranged for modern life. We loved the peace and quiet and the fact that we had a private garden. Dominique Hugot was most welcoming and helpful.

The location is perfect for the Loire wine district. Interesting visit to châteaus.
We had a great stay at Dominique gite, and we would like to come back again.
