About this villa rental
The main entrance leads to the living area with fireplace and satellite TV. A few steps lead up to the dining area and kitchen, fully equipped with all the necessary modern appliances. From the sitting area leads to the first bedroom (twin beds) and bathroom with shower, WC and a washing machine. A few stairs lead down to a very spacious second bedroom/suite with a double bed and a comfortable sitting area. Large balcony doors open out to a pretty patio with surrounding gardens, just next to the barbecue and wood oven. On the top floor is the third bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom with bath tub and WC. Facilities inside of the villa include four air condition units (included in the price), satellite television in every room, a DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and various other kitchen appliances. There is the private swimming pool (40sqm) with sun beds and umbrellas and a variety of comfortable seating areas, providing the ideal setting for barbecue dinners.
This beautiful villa: This beautiful villa with a private swimming pool is situated 2.5 km outside the traditional village of Kavousi and 20 km East of Agios Nikolaos. The villa is located on the slope of a hillside with a spectacular view of the Mirabello Gulf and the island of Psira. The surrounding area is unspoiled with only a scattering of houses. The villa of 180sqm, is built on different levels, each offering spacious balconies and verandas affording breathtaking views across the bay and the surrounding mountains. It has been furnished in a tasteful, modern design in fresh colours and is with three bedrooms and two bathrooms suitable for 6 persons.

In the village of Kavousi there is a minimarket, traditional café bars (kafeneia) and tavernas. The small fisher village of Mochlos with tavernas at the waterfront is to be reached in 20 minutes.

The home is very nice and clean. The host communicated as well as he could as he struggled with english. The host also provide some foods at check in which was very thoughtful! There are a few things that have not been mentioned before that we think should be listed for future renters. 1) There are a ton of steps both inside the property and outside. None have rails which could present a problem with young children and any adult with mobility issues. 2) The host came to the property and walked around every day…at times it felt like we were being monitored. 3). There are 2 outside cameras with one directed at the pool area 4) Mid week the host came and cleaned which was fine…except they were in the home 3 hours which was a bit awkward. The host did ask about cleaning…but we thought he meant changing linens and bedding….had we known we would have made plans to be away and 5). The fridge quit working the 2nd day. The host did have another smaller fridge on the property and did bring it to us within an hour..but it made us think they may have this issue ongoing. We did lose some food but it was not a huge deal. You must have a car for this location.

The villa was immaculate, very well appointed and decorated to a very high standard. We had a super, relaxing holiday. The views were lovely and the area really quiet. There are other villas nearby but this villa was not overlooked and the neighbours were quite a distance away.
A car is necessary to reach shops and restaurants easily but that is the price to pay for amazing views and a peaceful location.
The owner and his staff were extremely helpful. We had a small problem with electrics at one point and the electrician arrived in 10 minutes from contacting the owner! Wish we could be offered that service in the UK.
We look forward to visiting again.

Fantastic and immaculate property and grounds that surpassed our expectations. It’s a truly stunning, peaceful and beautiful spot. Plus when you add in a great pool and the usual blue sky weather you have all the ingredients for a perfect break! A slightly rocky approach road but still no problem in a routine hire car. Thoroughly recommended!
