The 840+ sq ft layout offers a cozy space for families and small groups. KC's Haven was cozy, clean, and perfectly located for a relaxing Big Bear getaway. The cabin had everything we needed, and the host's communication was excellent. We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

This cabin is nice and comfortable. It is located in a residential neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Big Bear. It does take at least 25 min. to get to the Village with traffic if you're there during a busy time.
The cabin is pretty well-equipped, but the online description lists a “foosball table and darts” which is not correct. Also, it lists “games and card games”, but there is only one incomplete Jenga game and one deck of cards. We would also have wanted some hangers in the closets (there are metal rod structures in each closet, but they are pretty much useless with no hangers). Overall, this is a pretty good cabin for the price.

Great property, beautiful fireplace, and spacious bedrooms, but bit of a drive to Alpine park and main town area. Thought my toddler could play in the backyard or front yard but it wasn’t kid friendly. Coffee maker is only keurig so it didn’t work for us as we didn’t carry keurig cups. Our biggest disappointment was having to drive 30 min to dispose our trash. We are paying for cleaning and maintenance, we shouldn’t have to drive this far to throw away our trash. Especially knowing families will have tons of winter gear, it was a big hassle to carry our trash and drive it to the dump.
