The minimalist decor within this desert getaway unit (within a duplex) is the retreat everyone needs and deserves. Even though the unit is located on Borrego Springs Road, and you may hear some street noise, the bedroom is located far enough to allow for a restful evening. As you know between 8 pm-morning there are few cars on the streets in Borrego…Don’t delay in getting your self-care and R&R…

There are no stop lights in Borrego Springs and nighttime lighting is kept to a minimum to protect the views of the night sky. Borrego Springs is approximately 90 miles (140 km) from downtown San Diego and the lights of the highly developed California coast. Borrego Springs was designated as California's first International Dark-Sky Community by the International Dark-Sky Association. It is a center for public astronomy activities throughout the year.

Great stay! It is right next to the main road and you do hear traffic noise. It did not bother us, but it is something to be aware of. The unit was spotless, had all of the needed amenities, and we would definitely stay again.

Exactly as advertised. Very convenient location about 1 mile south of town center. Nancy is a great host and responds to concerns immediately. Highly recommended.

Very near park and shopping. Easy to get to. Clean and neat. Not 5 stars because we could not get cooktop to work. Also, probably just us, but heat and air controls were a little confusing. Every thing else was great. Dark sky community, so the stars were beautiful. Perfect place to stay.

It was really easy to check in, and everything was clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. I appreciated the AC on the hot afternoons. Cute little place to stay!
