The apartment has been carefully restored, in keeping with its original character and to create harmony between the exterior and interior. It has a large kitchen/living/dining area with open fireplace. There are views of the countryside from every window, a tranquil and peaceful ambiance.

Amazing location. I highly recommend this property. Views are unbelievable. My only issue was being 75 years old, the 18 steps to apt was a bit difficult. Owners are very easy to speak with and always responded.

A wonderful location with ever changing views that take your breath away. Clean and well equiped. great communication with the hosts. Lovely area to explore. Cats that visit- sheer bliss
Be aware that the property is a little rustic- shower is low pressure and hot water comes and goes. We had some visiting centipedes on the interior wall from time to time but they were harmless and easily removed.

Situated in the heart of the Tuscany, the Crete Senesi is maybe the perfect place to discover the beautiful cities of Siena, Montepulciano, Asciano or Cortona. Our holiday apartment was part of a country house on a hill, accessible via a gravel road and therefore very calm and idyllisch. There was a big swimming pool as well.
On arrival, we were welcomed with some pastry and a bottle of delicious self-made olive oil. The apartment itself was composed of a very big room with a sofa corner, dining table, kitchenette and fireplace. A staircase led to another sofa corner in an open upstair unit. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one with a bathtub) completed the interior. Outside there was also a lovely little backyard. The pool was great and clean and most times we had it on our own.
Inside nothing was missing. Besides a huge refrigerator the kitchen provided everything for cooking for a multi-headed family! When we had a problem in the bathroom, after contacting the landlords they promptly organized a plumper for repair.
All in all it was a very, very nice stay for us and our two children - our daughter fell undyingly in love with the cats living there! If we ever visit the Tuscany again, this apartment would be our number one destination ♡
