About this cottage rental
Come hideaway in our country retreat in the middle of 14 acres of wooded peacefulness. Enjoy wildlife from a window or from one of two decks while you are still located close to tourist attractions like Strasburg Railroad and minutes from the oldest, continuing farmers' market, Central Market and numerous hiking trails at state parks or conservancies.
Our family has lived here for over twenty years and we would love to share it with visitors. Whether you're a history buff, a adventurer, a shopper, or you're just looking for a little time to rest and restore yourself, our slice of nature is the perfect place to relax. Hot tub is open year-round for your relaxation.

Such a beautiful space tucked away in the woods! The home had everything we needed and was full of charm and thoughtful details. It was close enough to enjoy many of the local attractions, yet so inviting that we spent plenty of time enjoying the home and property. I hope we can return someday! Thanks, Angie!

Best equipped kitchen in all my years of booking on VRBO. Beautifully appointed. Easy operation of all technology. Just a gorgeous home. Folks not as steady on their feet should be mindful of the steepness of the path up to the trail and I recommend actual hiking boots/shoes over sneakers! And watch the bottom of the drive turning right onto Pennsy Rd. Bottomed out a bit.
