The property used to be an office, located just off a major road, so not a charming cottage, but it had everything we needed. The remodel was well done, the appliances are new and nice, the main bedroom where we stayed had a really comfy king-sized bed, excellent black-out shade, and nice clean sheets. Even the towels were luxurious. Good A/C and fans. Best of all, we slept like babies!

This is a great place to stay. Close to Traverse City, Frankfort, Riverside Canoe trips. Walking distance to great places in downtown Beulah and Crystal Lake. This place was clean and much bigger then we expected. We had 4 adults and one teenager in our party and we had plenty of room. The private yard was very nice, hot tub, grill, fire pit were all great ammeneties. The kitchen was fully stocked, linens were clean and comfortable.
We would definitely stay here again!

When we arrived, we found bath towels that were damp hanging on hooks in the bathroom. The person we were communicating with reassured me that they were clean. If they were clean, they should’ve been dry and folded up. We did not use the towels . The bathroom didn’t have a hook to hang your clothes on when you take a shower. At 10:30 PM on the night we arrived. I realized we didn’t have any more toilet paper for the morning. We had to go out and get some. Then the person that was handling, the rental told me where to find some, but it was behind cleaning products. I don’t think we should have to dig around to find the toilet paper. Should be out there. We cleaned the toilet ourselves and wiped down stuff in the kitchen.
That being said, the beds were really comfortable. I liked the location because it was easy to find when we were coming home from someplace. We had the Cherrie Hut to guide us. It’s summertime (high traffic time) and somebody earlier had complained about the traffic noise. It didn’t really bother me.
A screen was not installed in the bedroom and it would’ve made for a better airflow in the house when it got warm. They need to attend to some small things and keep an eye on the cleaning people somebody needs to inspect it afterwards. They could do better.
