About this apartment rental
Newly renovated 1 bed, 1 bath unit in the historic West End neighborhood of Winston Salem. Conveniently located near 2 hospitals, Hanes Park, the YMCA, the ballpark, and downtown; this place has it all! In addition to historic character and a wraparound porch, you will fall in love with the spacious shower with rainfall and standard shower heads, and sleep well in the large bedroom featuring a pillow top, king size bed and black-out curtains over the bedroom windows. Washer and dryer is included
Guests have access to the entire, private unit, as well as the shared wraparound porch where you can chat with and meet new friends.
I live very close and I am accessible in an emergency or if there is an issue or need.
West End is a picturesque and highly walkable, historic area just outside of downtown Winston-Salem. You can reach some of the area's finest eateries, bars, and bakeries within minutes on foot or by car. Recreation is just up the street. Hanes Park features open fields, playgrounds, tennis and pickle-ball courts, baseball fields, and walking paths and is right across from the William G White YMCA. In addition, the area's largest hospital is just blocks away.
We have a parking slab in front of the home that offers limited, free parking to guests. There is free street parking available as well.

This is definitely what I would call a Hidden Gem, the location was great for our convention at the Coliseum, the unit definitely matched the description as given and had plenty of room and all of the Necessities that you would expect, it does only have a small parking pad for parking but easily accommodate it rx5, the bedroom had plenty of space to spread out while getting ready for our event and we really loved that the shower has both a rain head and a wall-mounted head as well with a detachable wand.The kitchen definitely has everything that you would need to make pretty much anything you would want which came in handy because we did do cooking while there, while there is no dishwasher we didn't miss it that much.If I had to be nitpicky I would say that the shower specifically could have been a little bit cleaner but other than that it was a perfect stay and would definitely utilize this unit again in the future and plan to!We highly recommend!!

This unit has the perfect name...gem! It is clean, well appointed, comfortable and great location (you can walk through the park for coffee and breakfast). The pictures area accurate but don't do it justice since they cannot convey the comfortable porch and wonderful neighborhood and the feeling when you walk in that you have made the right choice! We plan to book the same place next time we are in Winston-Salem!

Quiet neighborhood in Winston-Salem. We were short on toilet paper and there were ants in the kitchen but otherwise a nice renovated VRBO. Not super fancy but very nice. Laundry machines on site were handy.

The apartment is as described. It's a clean, well kept, apartment just outside of downtown. The price point is fair and having the amenities of a washer and dryer in the apartment made life so much easier. It was such a relief to be on vacation and still go home with clean clothes.
