About this house rental
Please note there is new construction happening north of the rental property. The construction will not be visible from the house and will have its own private road. We just want to make our guests are aware that there may be some construction noise.
Welcome to your private oceanfront retreat in Milbridge, ME. We are a weekly rental property (Saturday thru Saturday).
Our property is dog friendly and offers direct access to multiple beautiful private sandy beaches, granite shoreline, wooded moss covered trails all on 9 acres with 1100 feet of private waterfront. The property offers spectacular panoramic views up and down Harrington Bay surrounding Ray's Point at the end of a scenic peninsula. This year-round 2 BR / 2 BA house comfortably sleeps 6 people (1 queen been, 1 full bed, 2 twin beds) with 2 full bathrooms. Breathtaking views available from every room in this house. Dine alfresco on the deck accessible from the loft. Work remotely from the well-equipped office spaces complete with high speed internet and large monitors.
Enjoy the beautiful outdoors and launch your kayaks from your own private beach. Take leisurely strolls along the coastline through the moss covered forest and enjoy all the little alcoves with amazing views of the water. Take advantage of the beautiful cool evenings at the firepit with some hotdogs and s'mores.
1st Floor:
Bedroom 1: Queen bed (sleeps 2) with ocean view and office space with large monitor
Bathroom 1: Full bath with shower/tub combo. Toiletries/towels provided
Kitchen/Dining Room: Fully equipped kitchen with cookware, utensils, dinnerware, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender. Dining table seats 6.
Livingroom: Roku TV, books, boardgames, comfortable couches and easy chair
2nd Floor:
Bedroom 2: Full bed (sleeps 2) with ocean view
Bathroom 2: Full bath with shower/tub combo. Toiletries/towels provided
Loft/Office: 2 twin beds (sleeps 2) and office space with large monitor with amazing views and deck access
Deck: runs the full length of the house with built in tables and seating
Washer/Dryer located in the walkout basement
Amenities: Roku TV , High Speed Wi-Fi Internet, washer/dryer, and a well-equipped kitchen all included. Also included are an outdoor grill, linens/towels, and toiletries. Cell service is good in the area for most carriers including ATT, Verizon, T-Mobile, and US Cellular. Property is dog friendly and welcomes house broken and well-trained companions and the entire property is nonsmoking (indoor/outdoor). Please remember to pickup after your dogs.
Conveniently located only 15 minutes to downtown Milbridge village center equipped with grocery store, restaurants, pharmacy, gas station, public library, medical center, and many gift shops to explore (all within 6 miles):

It was great location however the steps to the beach were a little tricky..we are both over 60 with knee replacments ..the steps to the basement also very scary....we thought the deck.went along the bottom of the house but it was off the upstairs.....the view was amazing howevwr

We really enjoyed our stay. Sandy beaches are rare for this area, and our kids had a great time exploring the rocky coastline and playing in the sand. We saw interesting wildlife, and watched the boats go in and out of the bay each day. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the owners were excellent communicators, responding right away to any questions that we had.

We had a wonderful stay before the start of the school year. The proprty and house was everything we wanted: serene, nature, quiet, relaxing.
