About this apartment rental
Located on the first floor of the Old Barn at the Stenzinger Farm, this beautiful, spacious, ground-level apartment features a living/dining area, two separate bedrooms, a bathroom, and stunning views—a total of approximately 85 square meters of living space for 4 people, or up to 6 people for an additional fee.
The generously sized living area features a well-equipped built-in kitchen, a dining area with benches, armchairs, and a rustic dining table, as well as a cozy couch area, a large flat-screen TV, and an unparalleled view of the Spree River flowing right by.
The bathroom features a walk-in shower, a double sink, a toilet, and a window.
Each of the two separate bedrooms features a double bed (180 cm x 200 cm, accommodating a total of 4 people) and a flat-screen TV.
The sofa corner in the living room even offers space for a fifth and sixth guest in this apartment, thanks to its sleeper function (130 cm x 200 cm), available for an additional fee.
Most of the windows are equipped with roller blinds and insect screens.
There is also a terrace with seating right outside the front door, reserved exclusively for guests of the “Guten Stube.”

As early as 1926, the Stenzinger family welcomed their first vacationers here on Mühlspreeweg in Burg Spreewald.
Since the fall of 2020, we—the Urban family—have had the great fortune to call this historic, beautiful farmstead our own, and we look forward to welcoming you for a wonderful vacation.
Nestled in the countryside, with a large garden, its own boathouse, and a dock right on the Spree, our Haus Stenzinger is a vacation paradise… a place for the soul!
For all kinds of activities—by bike, on foot, or by boat— this is the perfect starting point, because the trail begins right at our front door!
We’d be happy to rent you our in-house paddleboats for wonderful tours on the Spree and its widely branching tributaries, the romantic Fließen.
Canoe rentals right here on the property!
Our vacation apartments are perfectly equipped for a relaxing start to your day—each one features a well-stocked kitchen.
However, you’re welcome to book the “All-Inclusive Breakfast Treat” package, which includes a small but exquisite buffet featuring fresh delicacies from our kitchen and high-quality ingredients from our region.
Two free parking spaces are available for each vacation rental, and you can leave your car there with confidence until the end of your vacation, as public transportation and various shopping options are just a few minutes’ walk away.
The charming little town center of Burg is just a short walk away and awaits you with a variety of shops and cozy cafés.
Make yourself comfortable on the patios in our beautiful garden, cool off on hot days right in the Spree River just outside our door, or simply enjoy your time and the view from our charming apartments into the rural idyll of the Spreewald...
Check-in is available from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00, and check-out is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
