The villa was absolutely beautiful. We had 8 adults and 4 kids there for a week. Each family had their own bedrooms and bathrooms. The living and kitchen areas were perfect for our meals and evenings. The kids loved the pool although the few sunny days that we had. The drive to the villa is an adventure, with curvy and one way roads but the view was STUNNING - worth it. We had 3 rental vehicles and were able to fit them in the parking lot. You probably couldn't fit more than that. Claudio and his wife met us on our first day to escorted us all to the villa and showed us what we needed to know. Communication during our stay was easy through WhatsApp. Conversations were helpful and pleasant. Overall, the villa was perfect. It made our family vacation comfortable and extra fun.

Our stay at Grandfather's house was wounderful. House is so charming with an incredible view both on the Sea and the Vezuvio for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Sunsets on the Vezuvio are just hamazing. House is very comfortable and adapted for a group of 10 /12 people. The pool area is lovely. The house's location was perfect for us : close to Salerno (15 min), Vietri di Mare (12min) and not far from Napoli (45 min) or Pompei (35 min). Finally, Claudio is a very pleasant host. Thanks again Claudio for this perfect stay on the Amalfi coast !

4 French-Canadian friends imagined themselves living their best Italian life for their 40th birthday, in a villa with their families. Well we lived the dream, and then some! The villa is simply exquisite. Yes, it's (very) hot in summer, but the quality of the house, the pool, the view, the proximity to great places like Vietri, are all well worth it. And Claudio and his wife are so friendly. I recommend, 100%!

The access to this property is not easy (lots of narrow and windy roads) but it is very secluded up in the hills. There were 7 people in our party and we are aware there is another bedroom which is open to let so you may end up sharing the pool/accomodation if this is leased. There is also an apartment below owned by the same villa owners which means you can expect visits from Claudio or other unexpected staff "passing through on their way to the other property..." not too intrusive but be aware if using pool or sun bathing you may get an unexpected visit...
