Wildlife abounds and hiking trails are endless from this unique pedestal home. Snowbird Retreat features a large, well-equipped kitchen. The open floorplan allows creative cooks to create, interact with the gang and watch the game too! Enjoy peace, quiet and starry, starry nights from the outside hot tub. Winter guests should plan 4-wheel drive vehicles with winter tires and possibly chains.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was well appointed and overall very much as described. Appreciated being pet friendly. One caution we missed in the description is the only inside access to the loft (with the king bed) and first floor (with working TV) are both via very steep spiral staircases. The Canaan staff was very friendly and accessible but picking up the keys (and dropping off) seems unnecessary these days. All in all minor inconveniences. Great place!
