About this house rental
Literally steps from the beach (1 block), the Nautical Nest is the perfect spot for your island getaway. You can't get much closer to Galveston's Seawall and beach. This home was recently renovated inside and out in June 2024. Enjoy the Gulf breeze and hear the waves from the front porch. The three bedrooms include 2 queen beds and a bunk room with 2 twin/twin bunk beds. This house has everything you'll need for a relaxing stay in Galveston!
LIVING SPACE
Relax and gather in the spacious living area which includes a large sectional couch with a 55“ SmartTV above a cabinet full of fun family games. Log in to your accounts to enjoy Netflix, HBO, Prime, Hulu, Disney+ and more. You'll also find plenty of throw blankets for your comfort.
BEDROOMS
The 3 bedrooms can sleep the entire family and more!
Two of the bedrooms include a queen bed for you to drift off to a restorative night’s sleep! Both of these bedrooms offer a SmartTV as well. The bunk room includes 2 twin/twin bunk beds and makes a great hangout for the kids. We also include white noise machines to make your slumber as peaceful as can be.
BATHROOMS
Two full baths are offered. One with at tub/shower combo and the other with a walk-in shower. Enjoy steady hot water (tankless) and great water pressure. Bath towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and body lotion are provided.
KITCHEN
Prepare a meal or order in. This kitchen is fully equipped with glasses, mugs, plates, bowls & silverware. Coffee/Tea Bar includes drip coffee maker, Keurig, and electric kettle. Dishwasher, blender, toaster, and microwave included. Electric stovetop range + oven. Pots/pans, baking sheet, oil, salt & pepper.
DINING AREA
The dining area includes seating for 4 at a cafe table with 2 additional seats at the bar.
OUTSIDE
Settle in to an adirondack porch chair and watch the waves roll in and feel the cool Gulf breeze. There's street parking in front of the house (guest parking passes provided) as well as private parking in the rear of the house.
LAUNDRY ROOM
A laundry room with washer and dryer is located just off of the kitchen. We include a few detergent pods as well.

House was very nice. Unfortunately the beach view is only possible if you lean over the porch railing. Also a pool was listed as an amenity and there was no pool available without paying. All other amenities that were listed were actually included. We would have picked a different house because the pool fee alone equaled 120 dollars for each day. This was very deceptive. It was also included when searching for a place with a pool.

This newly refurbished property is only a short, quick walk to the beach. There are lots of nice restaurants also a short walk away. We used it as a base from which to tour the Johnson Space Center and Moody Gardens. We found the host to be very responsive to any concerns we had. Host provided passes for on street parking but there is also parking in the back of the property. It is pet friendly.

Perfect house with perfect location. Could sit on front porch and still see the beach. House was clean and everything was fully functional. Ac was good and cold and water pressure was perfect for a great shower after a long day at the beach 10/10 would definitely stay again.

Great house within a block of the beach and walking distance to some restaurants. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen well stocked with everything you would need. Hosts had great communication and even provided list of best restaurants.
